ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  2. Troubleshoots and makes repair of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic controls.n
  3. Understands blueprints.n
  4. Uses all hand equipment and power tools.n
  5. Assists in preventative maintenance programs.n
  6. Performs daily lubrication of production machinery.n
  7. Follows and participates in plant safety/housekeeping guidelines designed to ensure a safe work environment.n
  8. Remains compliant with BRC / HACCP requirements as per this location's written Food Safety &a; Quality Policyn
  9. Will require overtime as needed to support business goals; occasional on-call weekends/night to support production.n

QUALIFICATIONS


n

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE


n

6 months to a year of related experience and/or training.


n

Experience in mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, plumbing and pneumatics strongly preferred.

LANGUAGE SKILLS


n

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to print simple sentences and legibly complete reports and time cards. Ability to understand and follow verbal instructions.


n

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS


n

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent.


n

REASONING ABILITY


n

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several variables in standardized situations.


n

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS


n

OSHA approved forklift certification.


n

Scissor/Platform lift certification/training

Salary:
$13.15 - $21.31Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
